When the Wolves open the NBA 2K24 Summer League on July 7 in Las Vegas they’ll have one of the best vertical athletes in recent NBA history on their side.
Kris Bankston is a 6-foot-9 forward with an insane vertical (44 inches) and equally impressive highlight reel.

Just how ridiculous is Bankston’s vertical? His 44-inch vertical would give him the third highest in the NBA Combine over the last 10 years.
Only Keon Johnson (48 inches), Jericho Sims and Hamidou Diallo (44.5 inches) had better verticals over the past decade at the NBA Combine.
Bankston, 24, was second in scoring (14.8 per game) for Norfolk State in 2022-23, while leading the team in rebounds (7.1) and blocks (1.5).
In just two years at Norfolk State, Bankston was two-time All-MEAC and two-time MEAC All-Defense.
All eyes will be on the likes of Leonard Miller, Josh Minott and Wendell Moore at the summer league, but Bankston’s athleticism gives him a chance to steal the show.
