Even though they’re season is spiraling out of control, there was some good news for the Gophers on Monday.
Head coach Tubby Smith informed reporters that Trevor Mbakwe’s right “wasn’t damaged.”
Smith said Mbakwe got his wrist “whacked ” pretty hard in Saturday’s loss to Wisconsin, but he’ll play Tuesday night against Nebraska.
Even four straight losses hasn’t lowered the confidence level of Austin Hollins.
“We’re definitely confident. Nobody’s panicking at this point. There’s a lot to play for, a lot of games left, so we’re just going to go one game at a time and take care of this game on Tuesday.”
