The Twins beat the Tigers, 6-3 without Joe Mauer Tuesday night.
Mauer was scratched before the game after experiencing dizziness during batting practice. Mauer said he was fine, but apparently not.
Joe Mauer has been placed on 7-day concussion list. Went back to team hotel before the game to rest.

Here's hoping Mauer's concussion recovery is more Doumit than Morneau or Span or Koskie. But brain injuries are impossible to predict.
