Matt Kalil grew up in a football family. His dad, Frank, worked closely with Matt and his older brother Ryan, a Pro Bowl center for Carolina, on how to become good offensive lineman. Frank says Matt initially wanted to be a tight end but he convinced him to play tackle because it’s right next to the tight end.
