Matt Dumba beat the clock in overtime on Saturday night as the Minnesota Wild earned their sixth straight victory with a 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Kings.
Joel Eriksson Ek put Minnesota on the board with his eighth goal of the season in the first period and Nico Sturm followed up with his third goal of the year to give the Wild a 2-0 lead after one period.

The second period also got off to a great start thanks to Kirill Kaprizov. The Wild rookie stayed hot with his sixth goal of the season and his 10th point in the past six games to give Minnesota a 3-0 lead.

The Kings stormed back, however, scoring three unanswered goals in the final two periods. Drew Doughty, Austin Wagner and Adrian Kempe all got on the scoresheet for the Kings and sent the game to overtime.
It appeared that the Wild were going to a shootout, but Dumba had other ideas. The defenseman buried a wrister past Calvin Petersen just as the clock hit zeros to give the Wild the victory.
