Darin Mastroianni’s stress reaction in his right ankle could keep him out longer than three weeks.
The Twins centerfielder tells the Pioneer Press that he’ll undergo an MRI on his ankle in about a week. If all goes well he’ll have to go through what could be a lengthy rehabilitation period.
As of now he’s in a walking boot, and he hates it.
“I hate being in it,” he said. “I hate that it reminds me every day that I’m hurt.”
