The injury-riddled Wild got some good news on Thursday.
First, forward Marcus Foligno said he’ll be able to play on Friday when the Wild travel to Winnipeg to take on the Jets. Foligno had been out with a facial injury after dropping the gloves with John Hayden of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Second, the team’s leading scorer from last season, Mikael Granlund, will also be a game-time decision, according to Dane Mizutani of the Pioneer Press.
Granlund hasn’t played since opening night and has been dealing with a lower-body injury. During Thursday’s practice, Granlund rejoined Mikko Koivu and Jason Zucker – which was one of the most successful lines in the NHL last season.

Minnesota will play back-to-back games this weekend in Winnipeg and Calgary.
After having a ton of days off to begin the season – playing in just four games – the Wild will finally start playing on a consistent bases.
