Johnny Manziel finished his pro-day workout today at Texas A&M by completing a deep ball down the left sideline, and as soon as the pass was hauled in he yelled, “Boom!”
According to the Star Tribune, the Minnesota Vikings are “very interested” in Manziel. Head coach Mike Zimmer, offensive coordinator Norv Turner, quarterbacks coach Scott Turner and general manager Rick Spielman watched Manziel go to work in person.
College Football 24/7 reports that Manziel will have dinner with Zimmer, Turner and Spielman tonight, and meetings to follow Friday morning.
The swagger of Manziel was evident throughout his pro-day performance, but so was his arm strength and accuracy as he completed 61 of 63 passes. He did it all while wearing shoulder pads and a helmet – a rare occurrence at a pro day.
Mike Zimmer shrugged at Manziel's workout: "It was different. It was a different workout." Also called it a "sideshow."

“I can make any throw on the field and hopefully compete with anybody,” Manziel said in an interview with NFL Network, via Pro Football Talk.
“I just wanted these guys to know that my focus is football. This is my life, this is what I want to do, and I’ve never been more dedicated or more committed in my entire life. I understand the challenge,” Manziel added.
Gil Brandt reports that Minnesota was one of seven teams with a head coach watching the workout. Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Oakland, Indianapolis, Tampa Bay and Houston were all represented by head coaches.
The Twitter world has blown up with Manziel reaction, including positive remarks from the likes of LeBron James and Michael Vick.
