The Timberwolves have been through a rough season, but Malik Beasley has been one of the bright spots since coming over at the trade deadline.
After the Timberwolves lost to the Orlando Magic on Friday night, Beasley showed that while he can sink a three-pointer, he also has a sense of humor while talking about their two-game winning streak that was snapped with the loss.
Malik Beasley actually said last night about the end of the 19-43 Wolves’ two-game winning streak: “I kind of felt we got complacent and bored with success.” Haven’t heard anything that tone deaf since Marie Antoinette baked a cake.

In case you’ve missed it, the Wolves haven’t had much success this season, but their “streak” matched a season-high and was the first winning “streak” since late November which resulted in another gem from Beasley earlier this week.

Sitting 5 1/2 games ahead of the Golden State Warriors for the worst record in the NBA at 19-43, we’ll give the benefit of the doubt to Beasley, who had a game-high 29 points in the loss.
