The Wolves cannot find a way to beat the Los Angeles Lakers. Minnesota dropped its 19th straight to the Lakers, 97-92 Friday night. Kevin Love scored 27 points to lead the Wolves, but Kobe Bryant scored 28 to help send Minnesota to its third straight loss.
There was plenty of mediocre basketball being played by the Wolves. The managed a disappointing 19 points. As a team, the Wolves shot 39 percent. They were even worse from three, shooting just 18.2 percent (4-22).
Nikola Pekovic finished with another double-double, scoring 20 points to go along with 12 rebounds.
