One of the NBA’s all-time greats loved the show Timberwolves rookie Zach LaVine put on at last weekend’s Slam Dunk Contest.
Magic Johnson was so impressed by the bevy of emphatically athletic slams LaVine threw down that he thinks the rookie “single-handedly” brought the dunk contest back.

But don’t get too excited. Johnson, according to Pro Basketball Talk, said the same thing about John Wall winning the dunk contest last year.
While Wall won the contest last year with a pretty awesome dunk, he didn’t draw nearly the buzz that LaVine did.
But opinions aside, there’s no denying how mesmerizing LaVine’s dunks look in slow motion. Check them out.
