Make it two straight wins for the Minnesota Lynx as they lit up the scoreboard at Target Center in a 98-77 blowout victory over the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday.
Napheesa Collier, the first-round pick out of UConn, scored 23 points and grabbed six rebounds while stuffing the stat sheet with four assists, three blocks and two steals. She tied for a game-high in points with Danielle Robinson, who hit 9-of-13 shots en route to 23 points and eight assists.
The 98 points is a season high for Minnesota, which shot 58.8 percent from the field.
The two straight wins come on the heels of a four-game losing streak, but the Lynx are back to .500 (15-15) and into seventh place in the WNBA playoff race.
The top eight teams make the playoffs.
Minnesota would’ve clinched a playoff spot if not for Indiana winning, so the Lynx next opportunity to clinch a playoff berth comes Tuesday night at home against the Chicago Sky.
