The Minnesota Lynx picked up a season-opening victory on Sunday afternoon as rookie Crystal Dangerfield helped lead a second-half rally to defeat the Connecticut Sun by a score of 74-65.
After a sloppy first half from the Lynx, the Sun built a 37-28 lead at halftime, but that’s where Dangerfield would help lead a massive fourth-quarter rally.
The Lynx second-round pick scored all 10 of her points in the second half and provided a spark off the bench and helped Minnesota outscore the Sun 27-12 in the fourth quarter.
