The Minnesota Timberwolves were blown out at home on Saturday night falling to the Miami Heat 103-82.
The Wolves were missing their leader, Kevin Love. He was with his family mourning the death of his grandmother.
The only thing colder than the temperatures outside of Target Center was the shooting by the Timberwolves inside of it. Minnesota shot just 30 percent for the game.
LeBron James had a big night for the Heat. He scored 21 points grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out eight assists.Dwayne Wade chipped in with 19 points.
Nikola Peckovic had a double-double for the Timberwolves in Love’s absence. He finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds in the game. Kevin Martin had 19, but only hit on 1 of 7 from behind the three point line.
On top of the shooting struggles for the Wolves, they turned it over 19 times in the game. They were never really in the game. The win for the Heat snaps a two-game losing streak.
The Wolves are back in action on Tuesday at Detroit.
