Kevin Love will represent the Timberwolves at the NBA Draft lottery next week, the team announced Thursday.
The lottery will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in New York City.
Minnesota is currently slotted to pick ninth overall. They have a 1.7 percent chance to land the No. 1 overall pick.
“It’s an honor to represent the Wolves at this year’s Draft Lottery,” Love told NBA.com. “With two first-round picks, we are in a good position to add to our current roster. Hopefully I can bring us some luck.”
#Twolves have 6.11% chance at moving into top 3, & a 12.58 chance of falling to 10th or 11th. An 81.31% chance #Twolves will stay at No. 9.

The Wolves also own the No. 26 pick in the first-round.
Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix has a list of the top 20 prospects in the draft.
Some of those prospects are at the NBA Combine in Chicago. Jerry Zgoda expects Wolves president of basketball operations, Flip Saunders, to focus on shooting guards and centers at the Combine.
Ex-Gophers forward Trevor Mbakwe is participating in the Combine.
