With the NBA season ending Sunday and the draft only nine days away, reports continue to surface about the ongoing saga between the Wolves and Kevin Love.
ESPN’s Chad Ford said in his latest mock draft that the Wolves’ best option would be to trade with the Celtics. Ford explained that his sources are telling him that the Celtics have offered up their No. 6 and No. 17 overall picks in this year’s draft, as well as future draft picks and young players like Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk.

The website ProBasketballDraft.com said sources have told them it is inevitable that the Wolves will trade Love before draft night. Ford also said in his mock draft that while Wolves coach and President of Basketball Operations Flip Saunders does not want to trade Love, the team would be likely to lose Love as a free agent next summer.
One GM I spoke to thinks the Timberwolves trade Kevin Love by draft night. "The distraction will only get worse the longer he's there."

Bleacher Report’s Fred Katz offered up eight possible trades the Wolves could make with Love, including deals with Chicago, Phoenix, Cleveland, Boston, Charlotte, Houston, Oklahoma City and Golden State.
The website Dunking with Wolves is in the middle of a 29-part series examining trade combinations with all 29 NBA teams.
It has been a few days since we have heard from the 25-year-old. On Thursday, TMZ Sports released a video of Love being asked questions at the E3 video game convention in Los Angeles. Love also appeared on ESPN’s SportsNation last Wednesday to talk about his career and his future with the Wolves. Love sounded like a man ready to leave Minnesota when he called the Timberwolves “they” and said he is not only looking to improve himself, but the teammates around him.
