Timberwolves All-Star Kevin Love says he’s on track to return from his broken hand in early December. He injured himself working out on October 17th and was put on a 6-8 week recovery process, which puts his return date somewhere between the end of November and December 12th.
Love will have a hand specialist look at an X-ray of his hand next week, which should lead to rehabbing with strengthening, flexibility and dribbling exercises. He is no longer wearing a protective cast over his hand.
Love is one of six injured players on the Wolves’ roster. President of Basketball Operations David Kahn says it’s “not feasable” at this point to add any players. However, if another player is sidelined with an injury for two or more weeks, the Wolves will qualify for the NBA’s injury exception, which allows teams to go over the 15-player roster limit.
