Northwestern High School in Miami produced Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper, but it also was the prep sports home of a gold-medal winning Olympian.
Brianna Rollins, who won gold in the 100-meter hurdles on Wednesday, also went to Northwestern. She is two years older than Bridgewater.
“How about that!! Congrats to fellow classmate @Bri_Rollin on winning GOLD!!! From Liberty City to Rio, dreams do come true! #BullPride #305,” Bridgewater tweeted.
