The sun will barely have risen by the time you tune in for Sunday’s Vikings-Browns game in London.
Seriously. The sun is set to rise this Sunday at 7:48 a.m. Kickoff isn’t far behind at 8:30 a.m.
8:30 a.m Minnesota time willbe 1:30 p.m. in London, a five-hour difference. The actual time difference is between Minnesota and London is six hours, but London’s clocks fall back this weekend whereas the clocks don’t fall back in the U.S. until the following weekend.
Fans should have no trouble watching the game since it’ll be simulcast on CBS and NFL Network.
Going to the bar for the game won’t be a problem, either, since Minnesota bars are allowed to open as early as 8 a.m. That’s the case for most Minnesotans, anyway.
In St. Louis County (northeast MN), liquor laws are stricter than the state law, where bar can’t sell booze before 10 a.m. But since it’s the Vikings game and it’s starting early, they passed a one-time waiver to let the beer and booze flow starting at 8 a.m.
