According to the NFL, Joseph joins John Randle, Keith Millard and Kevin Williams as the only Vikings defensive tackles to win the award.
Pro Football Focus’ rankings say Joseph is the second-highest rated interior defensive lineman in the league this season, trailing only J.J. Watt of the Texans.

Joseph is now looking forward to playing the Packers – whom are tied with Minnesota at 6-2 in the NFC North – at TCF Bank Stadium in two weeks.
“I’m glad that things are not going well for them,” Joseph said of Green Bay’s two-game losing streak, according to Sports Illustrated. “I’m glad that we’re even with them right now. But you never know how this league is going to go. I can’t wait to play them, and I know they can’t wait to play us, and to see who’s really going to be on top.”
