The Pioneer Press obtained a draft letter to Gov. Mark Dayton and the stadium bill sponsors. The letter expresses majority support for the plan although there’s no indication the letter was delivered. The letter says “we stand ready to be the local partner for a stadium solution.” It also reinforces the requirement for Target Center improvements. Stadium legislation stalled in part because city officials balked at the plan.
