LeBron James has an undefeated record as an All-Star Game GM and with his first pick Sunday night he chose Minnesota Timberwolves 21-year-old star Anthony Edwards.
“With my first pick, I’m going to go with Anthony Edwards,” said James, with TNT analyst Shaquille O’Neal reacting with a succinct, “OK.”

Being chosen by The Chosen One as the first reserve after only making the All-Star Game as a replacement player is quite the statement to how LeBron and the rest of the league view Edwards.
Edwards is making his first All-Star appearance since being drafted No. 1 overall by the Timberwolves in 2020.
Edwards leads the Wolves in points, minutes, and 3-pointers per game this season.
