Here’s what we know.
Ricky Rubio is awesome, Spanish is awesome, so why not let one awesome thing teach us about another?
Rubio hops back-and-forth between tweeting in English and Spanish on a day-to-day, and sometimes hour-to-hour, basis.
The English we understand, but we’re not very smart, so we haven’t been able to master Spanish yet.
So whenever it seems necessary, we’ll let Rubio’s tweets fill us in, and today will mark installment number one of the 2013-14 NBA season.
Needless to say, the adorable Rubio has outdone himself.
“@23Llull: Toda la tarde jugando con Buddy! Creo que está un poquitín cansado jejeje 😊 un abrazo a tod@s! pic.twitter.com/yQn3Ho7DuX”jajaja Crak

TRANSLATION:“All afternoon playing with Buddy! I think he’s a little bit tired lol 🙂 A hug to everyone!” hahaha Crak.
The original tweet is from Rubio-friend and Real Madrid point guard Sergio Llull. Madrid is in the ACB Euroleague and is a rival team of Rubio’s former Spanish club FC Barcelona.
Much of the credit here goes to Llull, as his puppy is as adorable as Rubio himself. Rubio’s response was simply a laugh followed by “Crak,” which, after we did some scooping on the streets, is apparently slang for someone with a sharp sense of humor.
Crak indeed Sergio, Crak indeed.
