Kluwe picks practice over White House visit

Don’t ever question Chris Kluwe’s dedication to football.

Kluwe’s fight for equal rights earned him an invitation to the White House, but the date coincides with Oakland Raiders mandatory minicamp, so he won’t be going.

Kluwe was released by the Vikings and signed by the Raiders last month.

It was widely debated if Kluwe’s activism was part of the reason he was cut by the Vikings.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen says Kluwe’s political views are not a distraction to the team.
