Former Vikings punter and outspoken gay-rights activist Chris Kluwe hinted that he might write a second book, the Pioneer Press reports.
Kluwe is in the middle of promoting his first book, a collection of his essays, “Beautifully Unique Sparkleponies: On Myths, Morons, Free Speech, Football, and Assorted Absurdities.”
Kluwe was pitching his work on Monday morning in an interview on “The Dan Patrick Show.” Patrick asked Kluwe if the player’s social activism and profane commentary cost him his job with the Vikings.
“I’m not in the meetings with coaches and GMs, so I don’t know what’s said,” Kluwe said. “I think there might be a second book after I’m done playing football.”
The Vikings cut Kluwe earlier this year and he signed with the Oakland Raiders. Check out Kluwe’s appearance on Patrick’s show:
