Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins may be “our guy” according to head coach Mike Zimmer, but it appears that after three seasons with the Vikings, he’s still getting used to his surroundings.
In a Twitter ad that was sent on Friday, Cousins promoted Puffy Cream Donuts in Eagan as part of Verizon’s campaign to advertise small businesses. But Cousins made an oops, spelling Eagan “Eagen.”

A typo is not uncommon in this line of work, but that Cousins couldn’t spell Eagan is puzzling. Eagan is the home of the Vikings training facility, TCO Performance Center and if Cousins were to make that mistake trying to find it, he could wind up at the law offices of Michael D. Eagen in Cincinnati, Eagen Insurance in Windsor, Ontario, or worse, the middle of Wisconsin.
As is custom when a typo is thrown out on Twitter, several fans were there to remind him that the business he promoted is located in “Eagan.”

Dude, use some of that dough to take a spelling class. It’s Eagan. E-A-G-A-N

This could also be the work of a Verizon intern simply having a bad day at the office. But as Cousins’ career with the Vikings has gone, this has become the expected.
