Gophers coach Jerry Kill says his top receiver — A.J. Barker — probably won’t be in the starting lineup Saturday against Illinois. Barker is out with an ankle injury, and Kill says it might take a miracle for him to be well enough to play.
Minnesota is a 3-point favorite Saturday, and needs one more win to become bowl eligible. Kill says he’d like to “get over that hump.”
