There are real-life adults walking around this planet that weren’t even born when Kevin Garnett began his NBA career with the Timberwolves in 1995.
Twenty years, 15 All-Star appearances, 1 MVP and 1 championship: KG has done it all at the highest level.
But 20 years patrolling the paint might not be enough for Garnett. ESPN’s Marc Stein is hearing that Garnett is leaning towards returning to the Timberwolves for a 21st season.

When Garnett was traded to Minnesota from Brooklyn on Feb. 19 there was a report that KG was returning to the Wolves with the idea of playing another season. But since that trade the 39-year-old has played in only five games because of a nagging injuries, and with only two games left there’s a growing chance he won’t suit up again this season.
A 21st season would equal Robert Parrish and Kevin Willis for the longest NBA career, CBS Sports says.
