Kevin Love will once again play for the best basketball team in the world in 2014.
Love, along with Oklahoma City star Kevin Durant, announced their commitments to play for Team USA at the 2014 FIBA World Championships.
“This is a big day and a big announcement for USA Basketball,” program Chairman Jerry Colangelo said. “Because two of our players who have been so instrumental in our success in winning gold medals, Kevin Durant and Kevin Love, have officially announced that they will be part of our future going forward, including the World Cup next summer.”
Love played for Team USA at the 2012 London Olympics, where he averaged 11.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
NBA MVP LeBron James is not expected to play in the 2014 World Championships, and he might skip out on the 2016 Brazil Olympics, too.
