Ex-Timberwolves star Kevin Garnett may be headed to Los Angeles after all.
Garnett, along with Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers, might be dealt to the Clippers as early as today, according to Yahoo!Sports NBA writer Adrian Wojnarowski.
In return, the Clippers would send Boston center DeAndre Jordan and two first-round draft picks.
The Clippers reportedly backed away from the trade Tuesday, saying the price was too steep. But All-Star point guard Chris Paul apparently wants the deal done, and according to Yahoo!, “injected his influence to accelerate talks.”
Garnett, 37, would waive his no-trade clause to join the team.
