Minnesota Twins pitcher Kenta Maeda set a Twins franchise record on Tuesday night, running through the Milwaukee Brewers lineup with eight straight strikeouts.
The right-hander continued his dominance since coming to Minnesota, throwing two scoreless innings before starting his streak in the top of the third with a strikeout of Eric Sogaard.
Maeda notched his first four strikeouts swinging before getting Justin Smoak looking to end the top of the fourth and striking out the side with including getting Ben Gamel swinging to set the record.
