Shae Kelley had a huge night to lift the Minnesota Gopher women’s basketball team to a 76-72 victory over Ohio State in Columbus Thursday night.
Kelley scored a career-high 29 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds to lead the Gophers. Kelley made big play after big play for Minnesota, including this nice reverse layup:

Kelley wasn’t alone. Mikayla Bailey added 16 points and grabbed 12 boards for a double-double of her own. Amanda Zahui B. chipped in with 14 points.
It wasn’t all easy for the Gophers though, who survived Ohio State’s Kelsey Mitchell hitting a school-record 9 three-pointers. She finished with 36 points.
After one of Mitchell’s threes cut it to 69-66 with just 1:27 to play, freshman Carlie Wagner made a big play for Minnesota, converting a three-point play and drawing Mitchell’s fifth foul.
