The flu bug is running its way through the Minnesota Timberwolves’ locker room ahead of a massive game Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Six players are listed on the most recent Wolves status report with illness: Kyle Anderson, Anthony Edwards, Taurean Prince, Austin Rivers and Matt Ryan.

Towns, already having missed 52 games earlier this season with injury, has been downgraded to questionable for Friday’s game.
Anderson is listed alongside Edwards as probable due to illness. Prince, Ryan, and Rivers are the other Timberwolves in the questionable category due to illness.
The Wolves and Lakers are set to tip off at 7 p.m. for one of the most anticipated regular season games in recent franchise history.
Minnesota and Los Angeles sit just a half game apart in the Western Conference standings, sitting eighth and ninth, respectively.
Sixth through tenth in the West sit just two games apart with a little less than two weeks still left on the schedule.
