The new Prince-themed Timberwolves jerseys became available for purchase this week and at least one major seller is already discounting them.
And by “them,” we mean Jimmy Butler’s Prince-themed jersey.
Lids/Locker Room has apparently bought into the rumors that Butler will soon be traded because they’re already marking the brand new Prince-themed Butler jersey 50 percent off, bringing its original price of $110 down to $55.
Want the T-shirt jersey? That’s also half off, reduced from $35 to $17.50.
It’s even funnier when you see that the exact same uniform style in youth sizes with Karl-Anthony Towns’ name on the back costs $70 and there is no discount.
Butler is literally the only player whose jersey is being discounted. Every other Wolves jersey with the Prince theme is full price.
The same Butler jersey costs $109 through NBA Store and does not come with a discount.
