For the first time since Feb. 23, Jimmy Butler is listed as active on the official Timberwolves injury report leading up to Thursday’s 9:30 p.m. tipoff in Denver against the Nuggets.
Butler has missed every game over the last month and change after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee, an injury that he suffered Feb. 23 against the Houston Rockets.
Butler is not in the starting lineup so it remains unclear how much playing time he will get.
The fact that he’s active is a surprise considering the Wolves listed him as doubtful on Wednesday.
More to come.
