Jerry Kill’s 2014 recruiting class was bolstered with the addition of a 4-star recruit Connor Mayes on Monday.
Mayes is a center from Van Alstyne High School in Texas, and he’s rated the No. 1 center for the class of 2014 by Scout.com.

The 6-5, 330-pound Mayes won’t feel alone in Minnesota. He’ll be playing next his brother Alex, who is a freshman offensive lineman for the Gophers.
