Lots of love for the purple today from new wide receiver Greg Jennings.
He told ESPN’s “First Take” today that he has the “utmost” confidence in quarterback Christian Ponder and expects “nothing but greatness” from the 2013 Vikings, calling them a hungry football team.
He also said he left the Packers for the Vikings because “it was time,” saying that he wanted to let the Packers’ young receivers “spread their wings” without him in the mix.
“It’s not about me,” Jennings said. “I had to remove myself from the situation.”
