Jason Zucker potted his ninth goal of the season for the Wild Saturday night to give the Wild a 1-0 lead in the second period. Normally, that is not making any headlines.
However, that just so happened to be Zucker’s sixth straight goal for the Wild – a Minnesota record.
Wednesday night, Zucker scored the lone two goals in their 4-2 loss in Toronto.
The following night on Thusday, Zucker tallied his first-career hat trick and scored all three Wild goals in a 3-0 road win over the Montreal Canadiens.
That gave Zucker five straight goals for the team record, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Fast forward to Saturday night, Zucker is at it again.

Zucker added to his record with his now sixth straight goal for the Wild. He is absolutely on fire with six goals in his last three games and nine already on the young season.
