The Vikings are in the midst of finishing up their new team head quarters in Eagan, which features an indoor practice facility as well as five outdoor fields.
With a new state-of-the-art facility, will the Vikings end their run in Mankato for training camp?
Their contract runs through 2018, but COO Kevin Warren said on Wednesday the team could get out of that contract by this December.
He told ESPN’s Ben Goessling they haven’t made a decision to move training camp to the Eagan facility. But he said it’s possible it could happen by next year.
After wrapping up rookie minicamp earlier this month, the team will report to Mankato for training camp in late July. That’s where they’ve held it for more than 50 years now.
But maybe its days are numbered.
