It’s a good news bad news situation for the Minnesota Wild and injured star players Zach Parise and Thomas Vanek.
- Good news: Parise and Vanek skated on Tuesday, per reports.
- Bad news: Both don’t appear ready to play just yet.
Vanek took part in the optional practice, but Michael Russo reports the veteran winger is still “a ways away” from playing. He adds that Parise remains out indefinitely. Head coach John Torchetti is expected to give an update on Parise’s status on Wednesday.
Vanek skated with about 8-10 #mnwild players today. Still a ways away from playing; hasn't had full practice, gotten bumped, conditioned
