Left tackle Matt Kalil missed his second day of practice Thursday as the Vikings continue to prepare for Green Bay.
Kalil is reportedly dealing with a toe injury. The Pioneer Press says the severity of Kalil’s injury is unclear.
He played through a multitude of injuries last season, but didn’t miss a game because of them – and he’s never missed a game since entering the league.

According to the Star Tribune, after a brief cat-and-mouse game with the reporters about injuries, Zimmer admitted that he doesn’t expect Kalil will miss Sunday’s game.
“I expect him to play,” Vikings coach Mike Zimmer told reporters Thursday.
The Vikings selected Kalil with the fourth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft out of USC. He has had an up-and-down career to this point, but made the Pro Bowl as a rookie.
After a bad 2014, Kalil has been the anchor on a Minnesota line that started the season without injured center and right tackle, John Sullivan and Phil Loadholt.
The Pioneer Press reports that Kalil was the only player who missed Thursday’s practice. If he is unable to play Sunday against the Packers, rookie Austin Shepherd is listed as Kalil’s backup on the Vikings’ depth chart.
