The Timberwolves take their still-surprising 4-2 record into Dallas tonight to take on the 4-3 Mavericks.
If Minnesota can pull out a win, they’ll have to do it without five of their regular players. Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, Brandon Roy and J.J. Barea are injured. Added to that list: Chase Budinger, who is scheduled to have surgery on his left knee this week with a torn meniscus.
Dallas is also short-handed, playing without star forward Dirk Nowitzki and Shawn Marion.
