The last thing the Timberwolves need right now is a missing piece of the starting lineup.
Last week, Jimmy Butler missed two games with a respiratory illness. Now, Karl-Anthony Towns says he’s sick.
According to the Star Tribune, Towns looked and sounded ill after Monday’s morning shoot around in Miami, where the Wolves play the Heat tonight at 6 p.m.
“No, I don’t have what Jimmy had,” Towns said, via the Star Tribune. “I hope not.”
If anything, this is something to keep a close eye on and hope it doesn’t because a team-wide problem.
Note: The Heat will be without starting center Hassan Whiteside (knee), the Sun-Sentinel reports.
