It’s been a rough season for former Twin Philip Humber, now laboring in the Chicago White Sox bullpen.
In April, he tossed a perfect game. 27 up, 27 down against the Seattle Mariners. Here is the video evidence, courtesy MLB.com:
Last night, a low point for Humber, as he gave up eight runs to the Twins on seven hitsin an 18-9 Minnesota blowout. The rough night had blogger Ed Thoma wondering if that perfect game was a fluke. As he put it, “Is he (Humber) the worst pitcher ever to throw a perfect game?
