Vikings first-round draft pick Teddy Bridgewater made his debut for the Minnesota Vikings during Friday night’s preseason opener against the Oakland Raiders.
Bridgewater’s night started full of momentum he led the Vikings to a field goal on the team’s second drive of the game, to give Minnesota a 10-0 lead.
On the night, Bridgewater was 6 of 13 for 49 yards, he didn’t throw a touchdown or an interception.
KFAN’s A.J. Monsour said Bridgewater struggled in his first NFL game action.
“Teddy seemed to struggle with timing and the onslaught of pressure from the Oakland Raiders. The internal clock developed only through in-game experience has yet to develop for the rookie and the NFL level.”
Here is a look at how some others felt about Bridgewater’s first game courtesy of Twitter.
As I said in the newscast, just can't tell much from tonight. Good performance wouldn't put Teddy in HOF. Bad one wouldn't make him a bust.

Christian Ponder is starting to warm up. Could be a night to forget for Teddy Bridgewater: 6 of 13 for 49 yards. #Vikings

I'm excited to hear the overreaction to Teddy's poor numbers. Forget the fact that every Receiver was covered like a blanket.

Is it me or does Teddy Bridgewater look like he's 12 yrs old standing next to Cassel?
