Miguel Sano is having a weird week. First, he had a ball bounce off his head. And last night he got drenched for no reason.
Sano was in the middle of a mosh pit at home plate after Adam Brett Walker hit a walk-off grand slam – super rare to say the least and definitely worthy of excitement. When Walker crossed home plate, Sano got a Gatorade bath by accident – and it looks like nobody drank any of it during the game because Sano got completely soaked.
Walker walked away completely dry, per the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle.
“Somehow we found a way to mess that up,” Walker said after the game. “I was OK with it but I don’t think Sano was too happy about it.”
