If the Minnesota Twins want to welcome back a familiar face, former closer Matt Capps is available.
Capps has been cut from the Indians opening day roster, the Pioneer Press reports.
He signed a minor-league deal with Cleveland, but has had a rough spring. Capps can either find another team to sign with or accept a $100,000 offer from the Indians that would send him to Triple A.
Last season, Capps was limited to 30 games with the Twins due to issues with his right shoulder. He went 1-4 with a 3.68 ERA.
