Here are 10 Twin Cities bars opening for Vikings 8:30 a.m. kickoff

Some of the Twin Cities’ most popular bars to watch Vikings games won’t be opening early for Sunday’s 8:30 a.m. game in London against the Cleveland Browns. 

We called around and got he scoop on a handful of popular spots that are opening for the game. 

Bunny’s Bar & Grill – St. Louis Park or Northeast Minneapolis

Their normal hours start at 8 a.m. so no worries here, and they’ll be serving breakfast until 1 p.m. Some menu items come with a free Bloody Mary.

O’Garas Bar & Grill – St. Paul

Opening at 8 a.m. and the first 20 people will receive a free Bloody Mary.

Half Time Rec – St. Paul

Doors open at 8 a.m. (normally 10 a.m. on Sundays) and they’ll be offering up their popular Sunday cheeseburger basket special.

Mac’s Industrial Sports Bar – Minneapolis

Typical Sundays mean their doors don’t open until 10 a.m. but they’ll let you in at 8 a.m. for the game this week. Specials include $5 Surly Hell Lager, $6 Surly Furious, $4 Miller Lite cans.

Moose on Monroe Bar & Grill – Northeast Minneapolis

They open at 8 a.m. every day so no problem for these fine folks. Eight ounce tap beers will be .50 cents during the first quarter, followed by 2-for-1s in the second quarter, pint specials in the third quarter, and $2 bottles and rail drinks for the fourth quarter.

Joe Senser’s Kitchen & Bar – Bloomington and Roseville

Both locations are opening at 8:15 a.m., just in time to get you in the doors for the game. They typically don’t open until 11 a.m.

JJ’s Clubhouse – St. Louis Park

Opening two hours early at 8 a.m. with 20 oz. Miller Lites for $3.75.

Buffalo Wild Wings – all locations

They’ll open the doors early at all Twin Cities locations so getting inside for the 8:30 a.m. kickoff won’t be a problem. 

Tom Reid’s Hockey City Pub – St. Paul

Opening at 8 a.m. in the heart of downtown St. Paul.

Brit’s Pub – Minneapolis

Doors open at 8:15 a.m. and they’ll have traditional English breakfast items on the menu to help make Minnesota feel a little more like London. They’ll also have $2 Bud Lite Lime and $5 Bloody Marys.
