Percy Harvin says reports that he and Christian Ponder never got along are simply false.
Harvin, now in Seattle, tells national radio host Jim Rome that he “never had a problem” with Ponder, and vice versa.
Harvin blames the media for reporting “things that weren’t there.”
NBCSports.com picked up on the story and immediately doubted Harvin’s sincerity.
Their take: “It would be surprising if the Vikings would trade away a player as talented as Harvin if there weren’t locker-room problems.”
