Former Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin has played in only one game this season – Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Offseason hip surgery to repair a torn labrum kept him out the first 10 weeks, and a setback to the injury following his game against Minnesota put his chances of playing again this season in jeopardy.
That jeopardy has turned into a potential daily double.
Pete Carroll, via Sporting News, told reporters on Monday that Harvin will once again make an attempt to get back on the field.
“Percy’s going to practice with us when we get back with the intention on playing in this next game,” Carroll said. “We’ll see what happens. That’s the intention and we’ll see how it goes. It’s come to the point where we can go to that and we’ll keep our fingers crossed for him. He wants to contribute and be part of this team, and he’s going to do everything he can to do that. We’ll see what happens.”
The Seahawks earned the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye in the playoffs, so the earliest anyone could see Harvin is in the Divisional round.
